I'm knitting a wrap cardigan, but I've got stuck, and could do with some help. The patten is as follows: Beg patt - 1st row (right side) - k7 (lower edge), k118 (centre sts), k27 (top edge) I understand the abbreviations, e.g k means knit and p means purl. But I don't understand what side I knit on and the parts in brackets mean. To start the wrap I have to garter stitch 152 stitches on the wrong side which I'm guessing means the inner side of the wrap. Any help would be really useful. It is a call centre job and I have seen people working in with jeans etc on and others with suits depending on what client they are working for at the call centre. Ok, I'm going to a party in a couple of weeks time. I'm normally fine at choosing stuff for myself but this time I'm stumped for some odd reason. The dress code is easy going really. Smart casual. Sort of skinny jeans and heels type of thing. I want it to be pretty modest and not outrageously flesh baring lol. I have broad shoulders, so strapless tops make me look like a rugby player. I have horrible knees so they need to be covered. Other than that, my body is alright. I'm curvy but not large lol. My credentials: 18 years old. Size 12 (UK). Small boobs. Jennifer Lopez kinda bum lol. . . No word of a lie. Flat stomach. Dark brown hair. Tanned skin. 5'2 in height. So I don;t want it to be slutty, to show my knees, or to be strapless (tho my mums pretty good at sewing so she could always add straps.) Flirty but classy. And not too expensive please! I used to be thin but suddenly I started gaining a lot of weight and eventually was diagnosed with Poly cystic ovary syndrome. After a year I'm finally starting to lose weight again!
